WEB BASED ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT TRAINING SYSTEM (A CASE STUDY OF FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC)

Abstract

This paper aimed at developing a web-based training system to revolutionize the entrepreneurship development training in Federal Polytechnic of Ilaro. This new system of learning includes the availability of unlimited training materials, real time class organization which is not limited by time or place and unlimited number of students to attend a lecture without congestion. In the current development, students have tendency and dependence on digital content and can take control of their own learning. Training materials can be accessed, stored and shared through the internet. The proposed system will enable the student to register for a specific vocation and make use of the materials available therein at their own convenience while at the same time acquire the necessary skills and competences needed for that vocation. It also aims at providing appropriate training medium, provides opportunities to complete the required work training, increased capabilities and knowledge in a more flexible, cheap and easily accessible way.
